The Power of Working Together

Research Partnerships

Solid, mutually beneficial partnerships are the best way to turn ideas into reality.

We believe partnerships built on ingenuity, collaboration, trust and combined organisational capacity are an essential part of our ability to develop energy that contributes to economic and social progress and to achieve our business goals.

Our partnership with The University of Western Australia

Our partnership with The University of Western Australia is enabling Chevron's Chair of Gas Process Engineering Professor Eric May and his team to undertake important research as well as open career pathways in the industry.

We work closely with universities and research institutions. Our participation in the Western Australian Energy Research Alliance (WAERA) and our University Partnership Program is building capability in petroleum research, technology development, and education and training projects.

Our collaborative research projects focus on developing knowledge and technology to commercialising oil and gas resources, alternative energy sources and the management of related health, safety and environmental aspects.

Technology is helping us advance emerging energy that can develop scalable and economical new resources while reducing our environmental footprint.
