Resources and Information

Chevron has produced a range of information describing our environmental activities and commitments across our projects.

Barrow Island Nature Books

The diverse wildlife on Barrow Island has been captured in a book series specifically designed to help  identify the interesting species on the island.

The  pocket-sized booklets feature mammals, reptiles and birds found on the Island. They are an important resource and an example of our on-going commitment to our environmental custodianship of Barrow Island - a Class A Nature Reserve .

Onslow Region Nature Books

The Flora and Fauna Field Guides for the Onslow Region were created to inform personnel and visitors of the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project about the diversity of wildlife in the Project area and the surrounding community. They describe some of the most common species in the area and those of conservation significance.

The field guides were developed in partnership with the region’s native title holders, the Thalanyji people, and feature customary names and common uses of native plants found on their traditional lands.
