Diversity around our project areas

Barrow Island

The diverse wildlife on Barrow Island has been captured in a book series specifically designed to help anyone involved with the Gorgon Project identify the interesting species on the Island.

The pocket-sized booklets include those featuring mammals, reptiles and birds found on the Island. The booklets are an important tool for the workforce and an example of our on-going commitment to our environmental custodianship of Barrow Island - a Class A Nature Reserve.

Onslow Region

The Flora and Fauna Field Guides for the Onslow Region were created to inform personnel and visitors of the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project about the diversity of wildlife in the Project area and the surrounding community. They describe some of the most common species in the area and those of conservation significance.
