Working Together

We’re  continually creating local jobs and supplier opportunities on the Gorgon Project.

In fact, the project is expected to create a wide range of economic benefits - including, about $20 billion spent on Australian goods and services - over the next four to five years, in addition to the creation of up to 10,000 direct and indirect jobs at peak construction.

Emergency Response Vehicle and Workers  Family-owned WA business Paull & Warner was contracted to build a range of emergency, rescue, fire and medical services equipment for the Gorgon Project on Barrow Island.

Gorgon Jobs

The project’s construction and operational workforces will be sourced largely from Western Australia, including the Pilbara and other regional areas.

In addition to a range of career opportunities with Chevron, the project will also result in employment opportunities with Gorgon contractors.

Supplier Opportunities

The Gorgon Project is utilising the vendor identification services of the Industry Capability Network of Western Australia (ICNWA) to provide qualified information on Australian suppliers.

You can access these supply opportunities via  ProjectConnect

ICNWA and ProjectConnect provide an important interface and valuable advice to project owners and contractors on Australian industry capability and capacity.

Through our partnership with ICNWA, we’ve  worked assiduously to maximise opportunities for the local industry to secure work on the project.
