Our support of the Exmouth Early Years Action Group is indicative of our commitment to addressing social issues by working in pertnership to deliver results “on the ground.”

The group was established with the common purpose of raising the awareness of the importance of the early years in a child’s development.

We are committed to working with local communities as a partnership.

In 2007, a study found that 41 percent of pre-primary aged children in Exmouth were not ready for the transition into school – compared to 11 percent across Australia.

The group brings together key agencies, community groups and parents who are interested in the developmental needs of Exmouth children from birth to five years old.

Together, we are exploring new ways in which the school, early childhood services and local agencies can work together to help the town’s children get the best possible start in life.
