Our funding partnership with the Swan Districts Football Club aims to encourage Onslow youth to stay and excel in school while leading healthy lifestyles and is aligned with Chevron’s commitment to health and wellness.

Investment in the Chevron V Swans Active Youth Development Program will help the V Swans deliver key social, health, academic outcomes in the town.

The program uses sport as a tool to engage young people in education.  Comprising a range of curriculum based and community programs, the V Swans program addresses’ educational, employment, social, sporting and health outcomes.

It also offers a strong partnership for capacity building and engagement with young people in the Pilbara.  In particular, it is working strategically to close the gap between the life outcomes of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
